Inverness

At Mini Wonders, we are proud to offer our specialist intensive physiotherapy clinics in Inverness three times each year. Our satellite clinics provide children and young people across the Highlands and surrounding areas with access to specialist paediatric physiotherapy and intensive therapy blocks closer to home.

We understand that accessing specialist therapy services can often involve long journeys and significant travel for families. Our Inverness clinics aim to make intensive physiotherapy more accessible while providing children with the opportunity to benefit from focused, goal-led therapy programmes delivered by our experienced paediatric physiotherapy team.

Each intensive block is tailored specifically to the child’s individual needs, goals, and stage of development. Therapy may focus on improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, walking, postural control, endurance, and functional independence. We use a combination of evidence-based treatment approaches, specialist equipment, and engaging, child-led activities to help children achieve meaningful progress in a supportive and motivating environment.

How It Works

Our Inverness clinics are always a highlight of the year for the Mini Wonders team. We feel incredibly privileged to spend time with such amazing children, young people, and families while working together towards important therapy goals. The clinics also offer families the chance to experience therapy within the beautiful surroundings of the Scottish Highlands, creating a positive and memorable experience alongside intensive rehabilitation.

We are also grateful to work alongside Dream Believe Achieve Highland, a local charity dedicated to supporting children with disabilities and additional needs across the Highlands of Scotland. The charity aims to provide grants that help families access specialist therapies which may not otherwise be available or funded through the NHS.
